Brandon Cronenberg’s “Antiviral” will surely make your toes curl. Set in the
not-so-distant future, citizens can purchase meat, cells, and even diseases of
their favorite celebrities from companies. This industry is so large that there
is an independent black market where sellers distribute the products by
contaminating themselves. But when the biggest celebrity on Earth dies from an
unknown sickness, a race to find the cure begins for a scientist who injects
himself with the same virus that killed the celebrity.
